Riding Mountain National Park is 3000 km2 of nature just waiting to be explored. It is home to the resort townsite of Wasagaming. Wasagaming is busy and hopping on summer days and is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, movie theatre, beach, boat rentals, bike rentals, and golf.

Wildlife is abundant in Riding Mountain. Take a drive and you are likely to spot a variety of animals including black bears, wolves and moose. Or head out to Lake Audy and see the buffalo. 

An extensive trail system offers scenic routes for hiking, biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing and bird watching.

Planning a trip for the winter? Wasagaming offers lit skate trails and skating on the lake. Or bring your skiis and ski one of the many groomed cross country ski trails. Friends of the Park offers fat bike and kick spark rentals. You can also take advantage of the sledding hill downtown.
